EXPECTATIONS
1. ATTENDANCE
Regular attendace and punctuality to homeroom and all classes is required.
2. Any absence requires a valid note to the homeroom teacher on return or parental phone contact.
NOTES
~ Medical or dental appointments and illness are
considered valid absences. If possible, appointments of such nature should be made out of
school time.
~ Parents or students must notify the administration and staff if extended family
vacations interfere with school or exams.
3. CLASSWORK
~ Arrive to class with proper equipment and be ready to work.
STUDENT CONDUCT
4a. Be courteous and show respect
toward all staff and fellow students regardless of their race, religion, disability,
gender or culture.
4b. Students must identify themselves when requested by
administration, teachers, office or custodial staff.
5. Theft or vandalism of school property (windows, lockers, textbooks, equipment) will not be permitted.
6a. Smoking is NOT permitted on
school property.
6b. Use or abuse of alcohol or any other drug is strictly
prohibited.
7. Use of rude, profane or obscene language will not be tolerated.
8. Clothing advertising drugs or alcohol, or conveying vulgar, sexist or racist messages is not permitted in school.
9a. All food and drinks must be
consumed in the cafeteria area only.
9b. Garbage is to be deposited in the containers provided.
10a. Walkman type radios are not to
be used in instructional areas or in the library.
10b. Large radios/tape recorders are not permitted on school
property.
11. Public signs of affection beyond holding hands are not appropriate in the school.
12. At assemblies, students are expected to behave as in class.
