Welcome to the Uxbridge SS Parents Association!

We usually hold six meetings per school year, at least one of which is a joint meeting with the School Community Council.  Our meetings are informal, serving mainly as a forum for parents' concerns, and as a means of passing information of special interest to parents.

This year we are going to invite a Department HEad from the staff to give a talk at most meetings, and, of course, questions will be welcomed.

Our Principal, Peter Morris and/or Vice-Principal, Paul Murray attend all meetings and will bring us up to date on happenings, issues, etc. at USS, the Durham Board and the Ministry of Education.

Our first meeting of the year is:
 
Thursday, September 25th, at 7:30pm in the School Library.

Please come and meet our new Principal, Peter Morris, and to hear about plans for the year from Mary McKelvey, our new Music Department Head.  In addition, there will be an opportunity to meet the candidates for the 1997-98 School Community Council.
